Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information FinaLems ("FinaLems," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use our application and related services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in three ways:

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and the business information you provide (company name, zip code, and similar details).

Business data you enter. The Service exists to store the records you create in it: customers, vendors, invoices, purchases, inventory, employees, payroll runs, and related business data. We treat this as your data, described further in the Terms of Service.

Usage and technical information. We automatically collect basic technical information needed to operate the Service, such as log data from our hosting and database providers.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

provide and maintain the Service; process subscription payments; send transactional emails you'd expect (team invites, invoice emails you choose to send, password reset links, and billing receipts); respond to support requests; and maintain the security and integrity of the Service. We do not sell your information or your business data, and we do not use your business data (customer lists, invoices, payroll records, and similar) to train AI models or for advertising.

3. Who we share information with

We share information with the service providers ("subprocessors") that help us run FinaLems, and only to the extent needed for them to provide their service to us:

Supabase (database hosting and authentication) stores your account and business data.

Stripe (payment processing) handles your subscription payment details; FinaLems does not store your card number.

Resend (email delivery) sends transactional emails on our behalf, such as team invites and invoices you choose to send to your customers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of FinaLems or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required by law.

4. Data retention

We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we retain your data for a reasonable period to allow for export or in case you choose to reactivate, after which it may be deleted from our active systems, except where we're required to retain it longer for legal or legitimate business reasons.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit, database-level access controls that keep each business's data separate from every other business's data, and role-based permissions within your own account. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and rights

You can access, update, or export most of your business data directly within the app, including via the Import/Export page. You can update your account details from Settings, and request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at finalemsllc@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under applicable law; contact us and we'll do our best to help.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll notify you (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before it takes effect.

9. Contact

Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to finalemsllc@gmail.com.
